Pictures from the Polytechnics Ibadan Protest over Nonpayment of Salary

We bring you exclusive pictures from the protest by the workers of The Polytechnics Ibadan last week Friday to herald the commencement of their indefinite strike action along with other Five Tertiary Institutions in Oyo state namely Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology; The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa; The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki and College of Education, Lanlate. to protest nonpayment of their full salaries for about 15months by the Oyo state government.
The union protest held inside the Polytechnics Ibadan main campus to avoid any interference by outsiders so as not to give it any political coloration started around 7am and lasted for about 4 hours
