The Oyo State Government, in collaboration with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Oyo State Chapter, has announced plans to host the Oyo State Real Estate Conference 2025, a flagship event designed to advance innovation, sustainable urban development, and economic growth in the state’s property sector.
The high-profile conference, scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, will take place at the Jogor Event Centre, Ibadan, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event, which is free to attend, requires participants to pre-register at https://oyostaterealestateconference.com.ng.
According to the organisers, the conference will be hosted by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing and Urban Development, Honourable Akinsete Olakunle, and will bring together a broad spectrum of stakeholders including industry experts, policymakers, investors, and real estate professionals. The gathering aims to foster dialogue on strategies that can accelerate growth and innovation within Oyo State’s dynamic real estate landscape.
This year’s edition, themed “Real Estate and Economic Development in Oyo State: Strategies for Success,” will serve as a major platform for networking, policy dialogue, and knowledge-sharing. Participants will deliberate on how the real estate industry can contribute more effectively to the state’s economic transformation and sustainable growth.
In a statement released by the organisers, the initiative is part of the government’s broader vision to consolidate on the developmental milestones achieved under Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, which has prioritized infrastructure renewal, housing expansion, and urban planning.
“The conference seeks to build on that momentum by positioning Oyo State as a leader in the real estate sector, promoting sustainable development, and creating opportunities for professionals to connect and grow,” the statement read.
The organisers further encouraged stakeholders, investors, and industry players to participate actively, describing the event as “a defining conversation shaping the future of real estate in Oyo State.”
