Oyo State government has initiated the recruitment process for primary school teachers through an online portal.
The announcement was made by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), during a press conference held on Tuesday in Ibadan, the state capital.

The newly launched application portal aims to facilitate the hiring of qualified teachers to fill vacancies in public primary schools across the state
The application process will commence today at 6 pm through the official job portal, subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng and will remain open for three weeks.
Emphasizing the authenticity of the portal, Adeniran cautioned applicants against falling prey to fraudulent websites that may attempt to deceive them.

“We assure all applicants that this portal, subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng, is the official and only platform for submitting applications,” Adeniran affirmed.
“There is no fee required for the online application, and no staff member should collect any payment from applicants”.
“Applicants are urged to adhere strictly to the three-week deadline and ensure all necessary requirements are met to avoid disqualification from the Computer-Based Test (CBT) exams phase” ,he said.
The recruitment process, according to Adeniran, will be transparent, credible, and merit-based, as mandated by Governor Seyi Makinde.
“The portal is designed to ensure fairness and integrity; each applicant must have their own unique email and National Identification Number (NIN),” Adeniran explained.

This measure prevents multiple applications under the same identity.
For support during the application process, contact numbers and emails are provided on the job portal for immediate assistance.
The recruitment drive marks a pivotal step towards addressing educational needs in Oyo State, promising opportunities for qualified individuals to contribute to the state’s educational advancement.
Adeniran concluded the announcement by wishing all prospective applicants success in their endeavors.
