Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency is set for significant infrastructural development as the Member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akin Alabi, has announced the commencement of two major road construction projects.

The roads scheduled for construction are the Erunmu – Egbeda Road in Egbeda Local Government and the Aba Otun – Fakayode Road in Ona-Ara Local Government.

According to Hon. Akin Alabi, these roads will be constructed with proper drainage systems and solar-powered street lighting to ensure durability, improve accessibility, and enhance the overall quality of road infrastructure in the constituency.

The flag-off ceremony for the Erunmu – Egbeda Road is set to take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at noon, with engineers expected to be on-site immediately to commence construction work without delay.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Akin Alabi reaffirmed his commitment to improving infrastructure within the constituency, stating that the road projects will significantly ease transportation challenges, enhance economic activities, and improve the quality of life for residents and businesses in Egbeda and Ona-Ara.
