Anthony Joshua to fight Miller in New York on 1st of June.

World heavyweight division of Boxing is ready to set alive once again as Heavyweight champion Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua is set to fight in the United States for the first time after agreeing to a fight with American undefeated heavyweight boxer Jarrell Miller.
The fight which is billed to take place at the Madison Square garden in the home city of the US boxer will be the first time that Anthony Joshua will be fighting outside Britain.
The WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF Champion, Anthony Joshua has come under heavy criticisms for his reluctance to fight outside Britain, considered to be his comfort zone with former undisputed heavy weight champion Lennox Lewis admonishing him to fight in the US if he wants to seen as a real world heavy weight champion.
Joshua’s arch rival Deontay wilder has also criticized the Nigerian born boxer for not willing to fight in the US. Deontay Wilder fought with Tyson fury late last year after his fight with Joshua wasn’t forthcoming.
The 29-year-old Champion is best known for his classic 11th round TKO over Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017. He’s since followed with a TKO of Carlos Takam, a decision over then-WBO champion Joseph Parker, and the aforementioned KO of Povetkin.
Joshua’s opponent Jarrell Miller (23-0-1 NC, 20 KOs) is a New York native who’s a larger than life personality, and certainly a large human being. “Big Baby” has weighed over 300 lbs in each of his last three fights, including an absurd 317 lbs two bouts ago. Miller has got three wins over former heavyweight title challengers, including stoppages against Mariusz Wach and Gerald Washington, as well as last year’s 12-round decision over Johann Duhaupas.
