The much-anticipated annual comedy and entertainment show, The Clap Owanbe, is set to dazzle audiences once again with its Coronation Edition, scheduled for December 26, 2024, at the Apex Hall, Gate, Ibadan.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. John Taiwo Ojiebun, the convener of the event, explained the inspiration behind this year’s theme. “In 2024, we are doing the Coronation Edition. We thought of it that the coronation party in Nigeria is always glamorous, so we decided to add humour and comedy to it, and that’s how we came about the theme for this year’s edition,” he said.
Promising an elevated experience, Ojiebun noted that this year’s edition would feature a “fuller house” with more comedians, content creators, and a revamped live band to keep the atmosphere lively and entertaining.
“What people should expect is comedy that is totally housed with proper Nigerian Owambe vibes,” he added.
The event also offers tiered ticketing to accommodate all audiences. The regular ticket is priced at ₦2,000, VIP at ₦10,000, VVIP at ₦25,000, Gold Table at ₦250,000, and Silver Table at ₦500,000.
