Ibadan Lifestyle: How long have you been living and working in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: I’ve been living in Ibadan all my life.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Can you share an unforgettable experience you’ve had in Ibadan, whether good or bad?
Michael Ogunsina: It would be the day I trekked from Ojoo to Omi Adio, because I had no money on me and I was feeling too big to beg for money on the road.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Which area do you dread most in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: I don’t dread anywhere in Ibadan. I grew up in a notorious area; my father was born in Abebi.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you go to the gym in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: I started at a time, but I stopped. I’ll look at starting next year. The gym is in Ologuneru.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Which area do you like the most in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: Aerodrome and Kolapo Ishola estate.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What are some things you like about Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: The Amala.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What are the things that put you off about Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: Nothing puts me off about Ibadan. I love our originality.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is one thing you’ve seen in other cities that you would like to see in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: I think there are some things I’ve seen in Ibadan that I would like to see in other states. We are too original and that’s our greatest asset. There’s nothing I’ve seen in other states that I’ve not seen in Ibadan.
Ibadan Lifestyle: When you’re away from Ibadan, what do you miss the most?
Michael Ogunsina: The atmosphere, the love, the free flow of traffic. I miss that when one road is blocked, I can pass another road. I also miss my Amala.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Where is your favorite place to shop in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: Gbagi or Ogunpa.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What are your thoughts on the social life in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: We now have a 24-hour supermarket in Ring Road; I think I’ve only seen that in Port Harcourt and Lagos. If you get to Ring Road now, there is light, the nightlife in Bodija too is there. The social life in Ibadan is good.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you have a favorite restaurant in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: Yes, Mama Adina Elefin Amala spot in Adeoyo.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is your favorite radio or TV station to listen to?
Michael Ogunsina: My favorite TV station is BCOS. For radio I’ll pick Lagelu FM.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Under which local government is your house and business located?
Michael Ogunsina: I’m under Ido local government, ward 4 precisely.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is the most expensive thing you’ve purchased in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: It should be my car.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is your favorite food?
Michael Ogunsina: Amala.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Who is your favorite artist in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: For Fuji it’s Taiye Currency, for gospel it’s Senwele Jesu. I don’t do hip pop.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is your favorite sport?
Michael Ogunsina: My favorite sport is football. Before I had pot belly, I used to play football. I’ll be playing this Sunday at Liberty Stadium for Omititun political novelty match.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Who is your favorite fashion or business celebrity in Ibadan?
Michael Ogunsina: My favourite fashion celebrity is Tiwa The Tailor because she’s beautiful.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What do you think is the unique selling point of Ibadan? Is it Micra, Amala, or tourism?
Michael Ogunsina: It’s tourism. This state has a lot of tourist centers that we are not even talking about. There’s Mapo hall, there are just two of them in the world, Adebisi Idikan, and Alot more. Our greatest unique selling point is tourism followed by Amala.

Michael Ogunsina: My birthday is on September 12.
