Ibadan Lifestyle: How long have you been living and working in Ibadan?
DL: All my life. I’m a native of Ibadan, I’m from Isale Alfa, from Ogungbade family.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Tell us one good or bad unforgettable experience you’ve had in Ibadan
DL: Most of the time, I have good experiences in Ibadan. For instance, when Shooting Stars won the first CAF cup. In terms of bad experience, it’s something that happens everywhere. I remember, my late father on his birthday that year, came out of his house and was shot by armed robbers here in Ibadan, I was in England when I received the news but I’m not counting that against Ibadan.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Which area do you dread the most in Ibadan?
DL: Beere and Inalende
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you go to gym in Ibadan?
DL: Yes, I do sometimes at the liberty stadium.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Which area do you like the most in Ibadan?
DL: Ring Road because it is where life happens and it’s just few kilometers away from my house. I live in Felele.

Ibadan Lifestyle: What is that one thing you like about Ibadan?
DL: So many things, I like the food. Our road connection, I think it’s great, Ibadan is fun and they are loving people. Night life in Ibadan is great and it’s peaceful.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What are those things that put you off about Ibadan?
DL: Dirtiness. Ibadan people are dirty.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is that one thing you’ve seen in other cities that you would like to see in Ibadan?
DL: Green areas, trees. We need trees in Ibadan, and not flowers.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Anytime you’re out of Ibadan, what is that one thing you miss about Ibadan?
DL: I think it’s Amala, I like Amala.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you have any favourite Amala spot?
DL: I go everywhere because I don’t like to eat at the same place all the time and there are so many Amala spots in Ibadan.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Where is your favorite shopping mall in Ibadan?
DL: ShopRite. I think it’s still the largest and the best. You get varieties there.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What do you think about the social life in Ibadan?
DL: I think it is cool, it is nice, and it’s not too expensive. Security is very important and I think we have that in Ibadan.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you have any favorite restaurant here in Ibadan?
DL: I have so many, but I think I’ll choose Pythagoras.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you have any favorite radio or TV station in Ibadan?
DL: I listen to all of them.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you know under the local government your residence is located?
DL: I think it’s Oluyole local government
Ibadan Lifestyle: What is your best food, sport, player and artiste?
DL: My best food is Rice, my special food is Amala. My best sport is football, my favourite Nigerian player is Segun Odegbami. My best artist is Wizkid.
Ibadan Lifestyle: Do you have any favorite fashion or business celebrity in Ibadan?
DL: I think Lara Farounbi, the wife of Chief Farounbi.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What changes would you like to see in Ibadan?
DL: Cleanliness. We are too dirty in Ibadan, we should work on that and it’s all of us, it can’t be the government alone. We should all do better.
Ibadan Lifestyle: What do you think is the unique selling point of Ibadan, is it Micra, Amala or tourism?
DL: I don’t think we have any tourism here in Ibadan, it used to be Cocoa House, but now I don’t think there’s tourism again. I’ll choose Amala.
