Amofin Beulah Adeoye has formally declared his intention to contest the Oyo State governorship election, describing his ambition as a bold step toward what he called a lifelong mission to serve the people of the state.
Adeoye disclosed that he recently obtained his gubernatorial nomination form at Wadata Plaza, Abuja, saying the move marked more than a personal political ambition.
According to him, his aspiration represents a call for equity, justice and inclusion across all regions of Oyo State, including Oke-Ogun, Ogbomoso, Ibarapa, Oyo and Ibadan.
He said the campaign is built around what he described as the “22 and 11 contest,” stressing that the idea is not about division but about unity, fairness and balanced representation.
Adeoye noted that 22 local governments are standing together in the call for equity, while 11 others are also lending support to the belief that fairness should not be treated as a favour but as a right.
He added that leadership requires vision, decision, action and execution, insisting that every region and community in Oyo State must matter in the development agenda of the state.
“This is not the 22 against the 11. It is the 22 and 11 contest. In unity we win,” he stated.
Adeoye said his governorship ambition is aimed at building a state where no community is left behind and where every child can believe that their dreams are valid and their future secure.
