It was a moment of celebration and gratitude as the Protocol Unit of Living Faith Church, Iyana Church, Ibadan, hosted its 2024 end-of-year love feast in grand style at the church premises.
The Head of the Protocol Unit, Brother Temitope Alabi, in a statement issued through a unit member, Oyerinde Adediran, expressed gratitude to God for His mercies and the numerous achievements of the unit over the past two years. He urged members to remain steadfast in their service to God, emphasizing that serving God yields the best rewards.
The event commenced with a Thanksgiving service and continued with a vibrant dinner party held at the Teens Church. In his keynote address, the Resident Pastor of LFC Iyana Church, Pastor Adomi Godwin, commended the Protocol Unit for organizing a memorable event. He highlighted the importance of creating moments of relaxation and celebration amidst work and expressed his hope for an even more remarkable event in the coming year.
The Unit Pastor, Pastor Leye Adeleye, and Associate Pastor, Tope Arisekola, encouraged members to remain diligent in their service, assuring them of God’s rewards.
A guest lecturer, Deacon Ajagbe from LFC Bashorun and a former Protocol Unit leader, delivered an inspiring lecture on the values of efficiency, dedication, boldness, and humility in service. He emphasized the importance of loyalty, confidence, and proper appearance for protocol members, sharing personal experiences of how these qualities elevated his career and spiritual growth.
The program featured a variety of engaging activities, including praise, worship, testimonies, jokes, cake-cutting, a Q&A session, and a sumptuous feast. These activities fostered fellowship and strengthened bonds among members.
Former Unit Head, Brother Abiola Akintola, on behalf of the Protocol Unit, extended heartfelt appreciation to all members and guests for their support and participation, which contributed to the event’s success. Special gratitude was also expressed to Resident Pastor Adomi Godwin, other pastors, and the planning committee for their tireless efforts in making the love feast memorable.
The event, which was graced by Assistant Resident Pastor Samuel Great Olayiwola, Pastor Ilesanmi, Pastor Akande, Assistant Protocol Unit Head Brother Egbeyemi, Unit Secretary Miss Funmi Oyebode, and other members, concluded with an atmosphere of joy, love, and gratitude.
