Ufit Fly Sends Miss Oyo State First Runner Up To Jordan

In the 20th edition of the annual Miss Oyo State Beauty Contest on Sunday December 3 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Miss Tolulope Mohameed was crowned the winner.

The event, hosted by The Silverstone Communications, owned by veteran journalist Mr. Isaac Brown, saw a total of 21 participants, between the age of 18 and early thirties.

In recognition of her achievements, Miss Mohameed was awarded a Mercedes-Benz car, generously provided by Mr. Dotun Sanusi, the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotel and Resorts.

Ms. Favour Owoade took up the position of the contest’s first runner-up, while Ms. Gbemisola Amoo claimed the title of the second runner-up.

As part of her prize, Miss Owoade was awarded a return ticket to Jordan, courtesy of Ufit Fly.

Other categories awarded include; “Miss Cute”, claimed by Ms. Boluwatife Aremu, “Miss Intelligent”, won by Ms. Oluwatimilehin Akande, “Miss Elegant”, won by Ms. Oluwadamilola Okundare, and the title of “Miss Photogenic”, awarded to Ms. Ololade Olanrewaju.

Present at the occasion were Mrs. Ajibola Lawal, the wife of Oyo State’s Deputy Governor; Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the wife of a former state governor; Mrs. Mutia Ladoja, wife of another former governor, Mrs. Monsurat Sunmonu, a former senator, and Mr. Yinka Ayefele, a renowned musician and owner of Fresh FM, a nationwide radio station.

The Miss Oyo crown was won by 25-year-old Community Health and Extension Worker student of the College of Health Technology, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Miss Adedairo Adebanke, last year.
