Shootings Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has introduced its latest roster additions ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2024/25 season.
The announcement was made at the Club House, showcasing a mix of fresh talent and experienced players.The new recruits include midfielders Adebayo Abayomi and Abubakar Aliyu, goalkeepers Akande Abiodun and Mustapha Lawal, strikers Ayanrinde Samuel, Bolaji Sakin, and defender Ofietefian Sylvester.
Chairman Mr. Babatunde Olaniyan expressed optimism about the upcoming season, emphasizing a goal of securing the league title or, at the very least, a continental ticket.
He revealed that a second phase of the player unveiling will occur on Friday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
At the event, 3SC also introduced their new home and away jerseys, which will soon be available for fans to purchase.
Coach Gbenga Ogunbote highlighted the strategic necessity behind the new signings, aiming to address previous gaps in goalkeeping, defense, and striking.
Ogunbote, previously with Sunshine Stars, believes these additions will help the team achieve a more successful season.
