FIRESIDE CHATS: My Life In IBADANCITY with Adebayo Ibrahim  PasswordTV

Ibadan Lifestyle. How long have you been living in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: I’ve been living in Ibadan since I was born, I only left for a while during my school and service days in Abeokuta.

Ibadan Lifestyle. Why did you choose to live in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: Ibadan is serene, a fertile land. A blessed land as long as you’re hard working, you’ll get the best of the land.

Ibadan Lifestyle. Tell us one good/ bad experience you’ve had in Ibadan

PasswordTV: The last memorable experience I had was hosting the Golden Penny Soup Festival. Hearing the feedback of people after the event made me very happy. The bad experience I’ll say is the post EndSars period. The police harassment and all. One being skeptical of passing a particular place because of fear of being arrested and molested.

Ibadan Lifestyle. Which area do you dread

PasswordTV: I’ll say the Ibadan inner, like Beere, Oje, Oja Oba. The reason I try as much as possible to avoid these places is due to high level extortion from the so-called “Egbon Adugbo”.

Ibadan Lifestyle. Do you go to gym here in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: No. I have personal reasons for not going to gym because the gym has been reduced to a lot of things. However, not going to gym doesn’t mean I don’t take personal fitness seriously. I go for walks and dedicate time to building my upper body and looking good.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What area do you like most in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: If I can afford it, that would be the elite areas in Ibadan like Lere Adigun GRA, Kolapo Ishola GRA, and overall if I can afford it or have my way, I’ll live inside IITA.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What are the things you like about Ibadan?

PasswordTV: Ibadan is a place that Is serene, the more you live here, the more you love it.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What are the things you don’t like about Ibadan?

PasswordTV: One of the things I don’t like about Ibadan is the support system. Collaboration is still lacking, largely.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What is that one thing you see in other cities that you’ll love to see in Ibadan

PasswordTV: One of the things I would like to see more in Ibadan is investment in entertainment and recreational centers.

Ibadan Lifestyle: When you’re outside Ibadan, what do you miss about Ibadan?

PasswordTV: The serenity.

Ibadan Lifestyle. Where’s your favorite shopping mall in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: JUST RITE. It’s not really because it’s my favorite, it’s more because of the proximity to where I live.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What do you think about the social life in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: The social life in Ibadan is growing so much to the extent that people are now coming from other cities to host their events in Ibadan.

Ibadan Lifestyle. What’s your favorite restaurant in Ibadan?

PasswordTV: The most expensive thing I’ve bought in Ibadan will be the land I built my house.

PasswordTV: Amala, Gbegiri, And Ewedu with Ogunfe and Tinu-Eran.

Ibadan Lifestyle: What’s your favorite sport? Artiste?

PasswordTV: I don’t have a favourite sport, I don’t even watch football, I’ll rather watch the highlights or play soccer on my phone during my leisure time. My favorite artiste is Kiss Daniel, and that’s because of his consistency over the years.
