EMPOWERMENT: Hon. Adebisi Unveils Beneficiaries Of His Vocational Training Programme

Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South West state constituency 1, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi has completed arrangements to unveil first set of beneficiaries of his vocational training programme.
The training according to the Media Assistant to the lawmaker, Tope Eluyefa, will be holding on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at Vocational Training and Education Centre, Popoyemaja, Ibadan.
Hon. Adebisi, who is the Deputy Chief Whip in the state assembly, disclosed that the vocational training programme, which will be periodical for indigenes and youths in the constituency, will feature vocations like Computer Engineering, Tailoring, Hairdressing and Soap Making.
Also included in the programme is Bead Making, Cosmetics, Perfume Making as well as Free Coaching Classes For Primary and Secondary School Students.
Hon. Adebisi, who is the Vice Chairman, Committee on Youths and Sports, said that the programme is in line with promises made during the electioneering campaign to use resources at his disposal to make job available for youths in his constituency.
He promised to procure necessary tools for all the participants irrespective of vocations undertaken to allow them to start their businesses immediately after the training programme.
Hon. Yusuf Adebisi reiterated that the vocational training programme will complement the free birthing kits distributed to not less than 500 expectant Mothers in Ibadan South West state constituency 1 some weeks ago.
The youthful lawmaker posited that all effort is to ensure that standard of living of the people in his constituency improved.
