Makinde Reshuffles Oyo Civil Service, Appoints Permanent Secretaries, Auditor-General and Education Chief

The Oyo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, has announced the appointment of new Permanent Secretaries and key senior officials across the state’s civil service.

The appointments form part of the government’s efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve service delivery within the public sector.

Speaking on the appointments, the governor urged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the new Auditor-General of the state to remain committed to professionalism, integrity and service to the people.

Governor Makinde emphasised that the interests of Oyo State must always come first in the discharge of their duties, noting that their positions carry significant responsibility in ensuring accountability and effective governance.

According to the government, the appointments cover the mainstream civil service, the education sector, the House of Assembly Service Commission, the local government sector and the Office of the Auditor-General.

  • Engr. Rhaheemat Abisola Adabanija

  • Mr Oluseye Adegbola Adeyemo

  • Mr Muyiwa Sunday Olagoke

  • Mr Adekunle Victor Adesola

  • Mr Waidi Olasunbo Oyelowo

  • Mr Sunday Akinwale Moradeyo

  • Mrs Oluyinka Mosunmola Shotonwa-Roagees

  • Mrs Abidemi Christianah Adejumo

Inspector-General of Education

  • Mr Oluwatosin Adekunle Aderibigbe

House of Assembly Service Commission

  • Mr Abolade Adesina Olabiyi

Tutors-General

  • Mrs Salimat Adebola Ayegboyin

  • Mrs Rachael Folashade Alamu

  • Mrs Abimbola Abiodun Emmanuel

The governor expressed confidence that the newly appointed officials will bring their experience and expertise to bear in advancing the development agenda of Oyo State and strengthening the effectiveness of the civil service.
