One dead as Action Alliance National Chairman, Tunde Kelani, survives Accident in Ibadan.

An accident at the notoriously busy Dugbe- Aleshiloye area of Ibadan has claimed the life of a young boy, a hawker, causing extensive gridlock in the usually busy environment.
The accident which happened at about four in the evening involved four vehicles; two articulated trucks, a micra and a Honda car belonging to the national chairman of the Action Alliance, Mr Tunde Anifowose Kelani.
According to eye witnesses, the accident occurred when an articulated truck carrying a container was trying to negotiate its passage towards the Apata route. Unfortunately, the driver lost control prompting it to launch forward, only to hit the petroleum tanker belonging to Total at the rear sending the petroleum tanker into the big dish opposite the Aleshiloye road.

A young boy, one of those who hawk their wares on the route was crushed to death in the process.
Already the Oyo state fire service, members of the NSCDC, Nigeria Police and Road safety officials and other security operatives were seen already on ground to salvage the situation so as to avert a fire disaster as the petroleum truck which was dangerously positioned on the dish was loaded with PMS.
The vehicle belonging to the Action Alliance chairmen was seen being towed away by road safety official while the ‘micra’ vehicle involved was damaged beyond repair.
