Bishop Oyedepo, Sheikh Gumi and Rev.Father Kukah in Attendance

With renowned religious leaders; Bishop David Oyedepo, Rev Father Matthew, Kukar, and Sheikh Gumi accompanying Atiku Abubakar to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s residence on Thursday, Is reconciliation between the two in the offing? Will Obasanjo ever forgive Atiku?

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has been at logger heads with his former deputy over undisclosed issues not unrelated to corruption. He has publicly denounced Atiku Abubakar and recently swore not to ever defend or support him for the highest office in the land.
The former president Obasanjo had on Friday 3rd of August swore never to support the Wazirin of Adamawa saying:
“How can I be on the same side with Atiku. To do what?” “If I support Atiku for anything God will not forgive me”
Already an alliance between the Peoples’ Democratic Party and the African Democratic Congress which the former president Obasanjo has identified with and other 30 political parties is being touted. The move is geared towards all the parties’ involved presenting one presidential candidate.
Could this be the beginning of the Alliance or the Reconciliation?
