The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Dr. Remi Ayodele and Mogaji Akin Fagbemi as Chairmen, Local Government Service Commission and Oyo State Transport Management Agency (OYRTMA) respectively.
Governor Makinde also confirmed the appointment of Mr. Kunle Yusuf as Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019.
Makinde also confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Oyesina Oyedeji and Mr. John Adisa Oke as full time members, while Alhaji Oke Taiwo and Mrs. Nike Arewa were confirmed as part time members of the local government commission.
The newly appointed Chairman of the Oyo State Road Management Agency, Dr. Fagbemi, is a holder of a certificate in International Food Law from the Michigan State University, USA and a Master’s of Science Degree in Food Processing and Preservation.
He had his Doctorate in Biotechnology. Fagbemi had worked as an administrator with the National Agency for Food & Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for almost two decades.
He is currently a Research Fellow at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan and possesses several local and international professional certificates.
