Zinedine Zidane announces shock Real Madrid exit
Real Madrid Head Coach and three consecutive Champions League titles winner Zinedine Zidane has announced his decision to leave the current and the most successful champions league winner after setting the unprecedented records of winning the champion leagues in 2016, 2017and 2018.

“I have taken the decision to not continue into the next season. For me and for everybody, I think the moment to change has arrived. It was not an easy decision.
This is my decision, maybe it’s a mistake. But I feel it’s time. If I don’t think that we can keep winning then it’s time. How can I ask more from the players? Big players need a change.
If I was the manager here next season, it would have been tough for us to win trophies. You saw in the Copa [del Rey] this season and I can’t forget our domestic campaign that easily.”
As it stands, Zinedine Zidane is unarguably the most successful Champions league coach since the completion was founded on September 5, 1955, having won the competition consecutively since 2016, 2017 and 2018 in Kyiv where Real Madrid defeated Liverpool by 3-1.
