Engr. Aderemi Oseni, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), has made a substantial donation of ten million naira (N10 million) to support the construction of the Omi-Adio Palace in Ido Local Government Area.
Oseni, representing the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, presented the donation during a recent visit to the town.
Omi-Adio, a city with a population nearing one million, has long been in need of a suitable palace, a gap now being addressed by this initiative.

In a statement released by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, from Ibadan, Oseni highlighted that the donation was part of his campaign promise.
“I wanted to connect with my constituents and support their efforts. Observing the progress of the palace construction is inspiring, and I am proud to contribute N10 million,” Oseni said.
He stressed that his donation signifies more than just financial support; it embodies a commitment to the cultural and infrastructural development of the constituency.

“This gesture reflects our shared vision for community progress and unity. The development of the Omi-Adio Palace is fundamental to our advancement,” he added.
Oseni reaffirmed his dedication to the constituency, pledging continued investment in community development to achieve collective goals.
The Olomi of Omi-Adio, Oba M.K.O. Adebayo, praised the lawmaker’s generosity.
Through Chief Muyili Ayelamgbe, the monarch expressed deep appreciation, noting that the donation will greatly enhance the palace project’s advancement.
